Summer Pond Care
| Choose a warm, fine day in late spring or early summer to remove and divide overgrown plants. Fish will need feeding on a regular basis throughout summer. Try to feed in the morning and clear away any uneaten food left floating on the surface of the water after about ten minutes using fine mesh fishing net. This will prevent it from sinking to the bottom and rotting. Pond problems often occur in summer. Use a jet of water from a hose to knock off sap sucking pests from water lily pads. | ||
